Haven Facilities & General Info

We can accommodate vessels up to 30mtrs in length at the Haven by arrangement. Please contact us as soon as possible if you do require a large berth due to restrictions.

The Quayside can be used as an overflow if the marina is full but please note that this is not always available due to visiting naval vessels or other events. Water is not available on the Quayside anymore but vessels wishing to fill up can contact the marina staff and they can arrange a temporary berth in the marina to collect water.

Rally or Group Events are welcome at the Haven and can easily be accommodated. Please call the office to reserve spaces. We require a list of boat names, lengths and owners at least 10 days before the event. During the busy periods please contact us 3 weeks before confirm that the event is still going ahead. A 10% discount is applicable for events with 10 or more vessels. (However no discount is applicable over weekends, bank holidays and July & August as this is our busy period.) Please be aware that we will often raft vessels during a rally. Vessels in the rally should contact us when approaching and berthing instructions will be given.

Swinging Moorings are available outside the marina from £1117.98. Please call for further details regarding these. These are available from 1st April until 30th September and then vessels can move into the Haven for the winter period of October until March.

Winter Lets are available from November to March. We can usually accommodate vessels if they wish to arrive earlier in October. Please contact the office for pricing or assistance with this.

Bookings Our 125 visitors berths are often full over the summer period and we recommend that you call us to book a berth, we take credit card details (nothing is taken from your account) for reservation purposes and you have up till 4.00pm on the day to cancel a berth if you have any problems getting to us. A berth number will not be allocated until the day of arrival, please call on channel 80 or 01202 649488 when you are nearing the marina and staff will advise you of the berth number/location.

Arrival Your berth should be available from 12.00 midday for your arrival. We kindly request that upon arrival all owners report to reception so that staff can book your vessel in and take your contact details. Please confirm how many days you intend to stay for. If you decide to stay at the Haven for further days than originally booked please advise staff as soon as possible to avoid disrupting other arrivals and berth allocation.

Departure Please vacate your berth by 12.00 midday promptly. If you wish to stay on later you may be requested to move your vessel to a position nearer the office for a short stay and will be charged according to the size of your vessel.

Short Stays are available and usually we allocate a space near the Haven office unless we are extremely busy. Please see our price list for the fees for this.

Showers/Toilets are available across the road from the marina, once you have booked in the staff will provide you with a slip giving you the access for the secure gate at the entrance to the marina and for access to the showers and toilets.

Disabled Facilites – a toilet is accessible on the marina at all times, and a disabled shower and toilet facility is located across the road from the marina, codes are available from the office.

Drinking Water is provided on all pontoons. You can also use this water for washing down your vessels but we would request that you do not leave the hoses running unnecessarily.

Electricity is available with 16amp connections on all pontoons, 32amp is limited so please speak to the office staff if you do require this connection. There is £3 per day charge for, a metremaid can be issued for anyone wishing to stay for longer periods.

Pump-Out at the Haven is free, we kindly request that customers wishing to use this facility call us in advance. This facility is located near the Haven entrance and we ask customers to bear in mind that this is located on a working berth so may not always be available. Staff will do their best to assist if vessels are obstructing use of the pump out but can not guarantee that this is always accessible especially during the busy periods, holidays/weekends.
